In the film four African-American vets battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen squad leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide. The screenplay was written by Spike Lee and Kevin Wilmott, Oscar winners for BLACKKKLANSMAN, along with Danny Bilson, Paul DeMeo and Matt Billingsly.
The 127-page screenplay book is hand signed by Spike Lee on the title page. The cover is black, with the title in red with the "S" in a blood-dripping font.
It was sent to members of awards guilds For Your Consideration in the Best Original Screenplay category. It is in mint new condition, only opened for photos. It has been stored in a pet and smoke free environment.
