Brand New - just carved. Senior carver Dean White of the Nanaimo (Snuneymuxw First Nation). His carvings are either of cedar or pine (usually pine, cedar is hard to locate). The profile is 100% hand worked with hand made knives. His carvings are rarely sanded. The paint and waxes are simple in nature and the dark brown is usually brown shoe wax. His signature is carved lines in the back. Carving is what he does for a living. 40 years experience. His workings are unique and easily identifiable
