Description

This is an incredible Museum Quality hand carved folk art sculpture by famous folk art sculpture Max Alvarez.  Sculptures of his are in the American Folk Art Museum and this piece is so much larger and finer than it is incredible.  It is signed on the neck and also dated 1986 - see photos.  It measures approximately 41 1/2" tall x 42" long x 32" wide.  It has some splitting in the wood that may be from age but may be original. I am not sure about that. Overall it is in very good vintage condition and looks amazing.  We are listing it as local pick up only as we do not know a shipper for this large of piece but if you have a shipper we are happy to work with you.  Thank you.
