NEW Vtg AGFA ANSCO A-5 Yellow Safelight Filter Glass 5 X 7 Convira Cykon 1952

Description

Agfa Ansco, A-5, Yellow Safelight Filter, 5" X 7", Glass, For Use With Convira, Cykon and Other Contact Printing Papers, Binghamton, New York, Made in U.S.A., 1952.
The filter is 5" X 7" X 3/16" thick, the yellow filter rests between two pieces of glass, edges are sealed with black cloth tape.  The outer packaging has a date 6/52 (June 1952) and the original inventory number 8A3505-363, also has a Federal Stock Number; 6740-067-8585 and a date May and a year, difficult to read, I believe it is 1955, it could be 1965 (likely 1955 as that is the first year the government started using the 11 Digit Federal Stock Number).  These filters were acquired in a Department of Defense Auction at Alameda Naval Air Base in the early to mid 1970s.
This listing is for One (1) filter, still factory sealed in its original packaging (4th and 5th photos), the other photos are of a different filter to represent what is inside the sealed package.
The filter is BRAND NEW OLD STOCK, Still factory sealed in the original box and inside the original paper and foil outer wrap (also sealed). The outer packaging has some wear.
