Offered for your consideration is a vintage
PARKER
Classic
, USA-manufactured in the 1980’s. Introduced c.1967 as the International Classic, it was styled as a longer, more elegant Jotter and was available in several of the high-end Model 75’s finishes. The Classic is readily identifiable by the V-shape ended, flat-resting arrows atop the clip. This terrific Classic ballpoint comes in the workaday brushed steel finish with chrome clip and trim (CT).

Although the listing is written in the singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) PARKER Classic ballpoint pens are available at time of this writing. One was made in the second quarter of 1984, the other in the second quarter of 1988, but they are otherwise identical in style and condition. This PARKER Classic pen is in clean, excellent condition. The pen measures 5¼” long x just under ⅜” at widest, not including the tight-fitting clip. There are no dings or scratches to the attractive cap or barrel, just some practically invisible signs of use from the years. Plus, the Classic has metal threads on both cap and barrel for strength and longevity. Overall, this PARKER ballpoint presents exceptionally well to both eye and touch!
Most importantly, the cap-top clicker extends and retracts the PARKER refill without fail. I’ll make sure the refill is writing at time of sale and will replace with another if needed; color my choice, based on what I have available. Lastly, the Classic has excellent balance, adequate mass, and feels great to write with!
